Barking Bubz pet sitting offers exceptional in-home care while you are away to keep your pets comfortable and you worry free. We follow the daily routine you have established to ensure their experience is low stress, while also adding enrichment like daily walks, hikes, and more to their experience.
In-Home Care
One of the primary challenges associated with commercial pet boarding is the stress and anxiety pets often experience when confined to small spaces with only a few familiar items from home. They must adapt to the facility's schedule, new smells, different dogs, and unfamiliar humans, which can be overwhelming.

Barking Bubz's In-Home Care service involves staying in your home to care for your pets. Since our focus is on maintaining positive relationship based approaches to dog care, we prefer in-home pet care. Caring for your pet in the space they are most familiar in minimizes stress for your furry companions. They can enjoy the comfort of home by allowing them to remain in their familiar environment. We can easily adapt to the schedule that your pets are accustomed to, making every effort to maintain their daily routine as closely as possible. Your pet may have initial anxiety since our Pet Sitters may be new to your pup; we strongly recommend many Meet & Greets to help your pup feel comfortable and confident.
Don't worry while you are away, our pet sitter, Katie, is committed to being respectful and considerate of your home, leaving the space as though we had never been there. Ultimately, the goal of in-home dog sitting is to provide a comfortable and enriching experience for your pets, offering new exposures as permitted while ensuring they remain happy, healthy, and cared for at all times, just as you would.

Home Away From Home Care
Home Away from Home Care offers overnight care for your pup in our dog sitter, Katie's home. This service offers a versatile solution for various situations such as: home renovations, welcoming a new baby, when you may feel hesitant about having us in your home, or any circumstance that requires your dog to be temporarily away from home. Your pup will have the opportunity to socialize with other dogs, explore the cats, and enjoy the spacious yard. While this arrangement may be slightly stressful for your dog due to the changes in their environment, the aim is to facilitate a smooth and calming transition, ensuring they have a delightful experience akin to a mini vacation.
Katie will strive to maintain their routine and provide ample opportunities for exercise and play.
Katie encourages you to bring any comforting items for their stay such as kennels, blankets, beds, etc.
*Please note that this option is currently limited to dog and cat-friendly dogs due to the presence of Katie's own three dogs and two cats.
Barking Bubz's Home Away from Home Care will return your pup home tired, happy, and well cared for. Soon enough, they may be excitedly barking to visit "Auntie Katie's" house again!
Enriched Care
Our Enriched Day Care service is perfect for dogs who are left home alone for extended periods of time. We provide a much needed potty break for your pup. In addition, we will burn off some of their excess energy by training to play fetch and playing some brain games. These will help make your dog's day more well-rounded so they will be happy and tired when you come home. Say goodbye to destructive behaviors! We offer sessions in 45 minute segments.
Going on vacation? This is the service for you! Our trainer will pop in to care for your pet, making sure they receive a potty break, water, meals, medication, affection, and play. Be sure to book this service per time you would like the trainer to visit (am & pm, am, midday, & pm). A discount will be offered for any service booked more than twice in a day!
