While your dog is attending Playcamp at NLU, our trainers can incorporate structured training and behavior support throughout the day. Instead of relying on one big training session each week, your dog receives consistent practice in smaller increments—helping new skills become part of their everyday routine.

Your dog will receive one-on-one training tailored to their individual needs, whether they're working on obedience, leash manners, reactivity, impulse control, or structured socialization with people and dogs.

Why a 5-Month Commitment?

Real behavior change takes time, repetition, and consistency.

Dogs don't learn a new behavior in one session and automatically understand how to apply it everywhere. Our School for Dogs Membership is designed to give your dog enough time to practice, repeat, and build reliability across different situations and environments.

For this reason, all School for Dogs Memberships require a minimum commitment of 5 consecutive months.

This allows our trainers to:

Build a strong foundation
Reinforce skills through consistent repetition
Identify and address new behaviors as they emerge
Increase reliability and confidence over time
Help skills become part of your dog's everyday routine
Give your family time to learn and maintain the behaviors at home

From School to Home

Your dog may learn beautifully with a professional trainer—but the real goal is for those skills to carry over into everyday life with you.

That's why we recommend pairing your School Membership with our School to Home Package. This helps your dog generalize the skills they learn at NLU so they understand that the same expectations apply at home, in the neighborhood, and out in the real world.

Our goal isn't simply to create a dog who listens to their trainer.

Our goal is to help create a dog who can successfully use those skills with their family, too.

Important Information

The Barking Bubz School for Dogs Membership requires a minimum 5-month commitment and is available exclusively through our NLU training home.

Your dog's safety and the safety of the other dogs in our care always come first. Participation in daycare-based training and socialization activities is dependent on your dog's temperament, behavior, and ability to safely participate in the environment.

Please note: Membership pricing covers Barking Bubz training services only. Any costs associated with NLU Playcamp or other NLU services are separate and additional.
